This is the Parks Canada component of the International Historic Site. There is no visitor center here. Rather, from a small parking lot, there is a short walking path offering views of the island in the distance.

The park sits up on a hillside, so one is not a riverside as on the U.S. side. This gives a nice overview of the island and surrounding area.

Several signs along the path provide historic information about the area.
