The District of Columbia has 23 official park units within its borders, with several others in the surrounding metropolitan area.

After several changes, this group contains just 23 of the sites in the National Capital Region.
It will hit all of the memorials along with the White House and a few historical sites. What will make this trip interesting is some "sites" actually are spread over multiple locations.

Originally this was to be an Amtrak AutoTrain trip from Florida to nearby Lorton, Virginia, but it is consolidated now with Group 9, which covers southern and eastern Virginia. I'll visit most of those sites first and finish with this group before taking the AutoTrain home.
