Autumn will be the ideal time to visit the sites in this group. Staring in the south, I will take in the fall colors in Great Smoky Mountains National Park before starting a northern trek on the 400+ mile Blue Ridge Parkway,

I'll leave the Parkway several times to visit nearby sites along the way, finally heading into Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive.

From here I will head to western Pennsylvania to visit several sites before making the drive back home.
