This is my first trip where I won't be in my own car. I will fly into Des Moines, Iowa, meet up with an old friend, pick up a rental SUV, and the two of us will head off to visit 15 National Park sites in two weeks.

Highlights include five National Parks including Yellowstone and Grand Teton.

We will also hit both popular sites like Mount Rushmore and Devils Tower, along with some lesser visited locations like Knife River Indian Villages and Fort Union Trading Post NHS.
